Electrolytic Foil Forming Principle
In the electrolytic cell, a titanium roller serves as the cathode, and a titanium plate coated with precious metal oxides serves as the anode. Under the action of direct current, divalent copper ions in the copper sulfate electrolyte migrate to the surface of the cathode roller, acquire electrons, and are reduced to a copper elemental foil-like deposition layer. After continuous rotation of the cathode roller, pickling, washing, drying, and peeling, rough foil is formed.
The DC output from the power supply returns to the negative terminal via the anode plate, electrolyte, and cathode roller. Copper ions in the copper sulfate solution are reduced to copper atoms on the surface of the cathode roller, forming a copper foil.
High-Frequency Switching Power Supply Technology Principle:
Modern copper foil production machines utilize IGBT high-frequency switching power supply technology. Its workflow is as follows: The AC input voltage is rectified and filtered to obtain high-voltage DC. This is then inverted to approximately 30kHz high-frequency AC via a frequency converter. The AC voltage is then transformed to the secondary side by a high-frequency transformer and further rectified and filtered by a high-frequency rectifier to obtain the desired output voltage. The control circuit samples the output voltage and current, and after closed-loop feedback, generates a PWM signal to control the inverter circuit, ensuring stable output voltage or current.
